Shalom, bibliophiles! This is a belated posting: I shot it two months ago, and it just sat on my desktop, waiting for me to do a bit of editing before posting. I apologize for the delay, but my health and teaching got in the way of my posting this entry. Now, with all of that said, let's take a gander at the amazing graphic novel scores:

Wahoo! That's going to be a bunch of fun reading for this summer (and probably fall, as I am teaching later in the summer, thankfully, which will reduce my "free reading" time).

Comic Book and Other Junk Update 10-23-12

Shalom, bibliophiles! First, just so you know, I'm still thinking about a name for the new vlog/blog, which will be filmed mostly in my garage (fingers-crossed, I hope I get a house). In the meantime, I just added a minute to the start of this vlog entry that reviews two new project pieces, for the garage, and I, then, move to comic books that I bought. Let's see what I mean:

Wow, those comics were super! I can't wait to read the the Berni Wrightson stuff and other things. I'm going to be working on the snowthrower over the next two weeks, for I hope to use it when the snow flies. Thanks for tuning in, today, and please come back soon.

Hi, readers! I had hoped to post many more vlogs over the past week, but I am a wreck. I fell behind in vlogging when I got sick and then with my uncle's passing; since last week, I've just been lost (and still sick and stressed) and barely able to keep up with my students' work, sigh. Comic Books from 2-27-12, Part One

Hi, book lovers! Oh boy, if I can take a break later, from writing lecture, I am going to post the second part to this video and several other vlog entries because I have all this footage that has been sitting on my desktop for a few days, waiting for me to review it. I sure hope that I can do that later tonight.

Comics from 2-29-12, Leaping Along:-)

Hi, folks! I actually shot over 30 minutes of video, covering several boxes of comic books, but I lost part of that footage and will need to reshoot it. Also, the rest of that footage is just sitting on my computer waiting for me to review it, before I post it. Sadly, I've been ill; a mild headache has turned into a significant one and I'm dizzy; therefore, doing anything, including looking at the computer screen, is painful, so I've been avoiding the computer. Sigh.

Any way, today, I received a small box of comic books, so please do take a look at these, mostly Marvel, comic books, which are mainly from the 1970s. Thanks for tuning in, and please do come by again! Cheers, LBF

Comic Book Update, 2-20-12

Hi, folks, I've been coming apart at the seems, emotionally and mentally, so I am not working efficiently, whether it's for my job, reading, or just doing vlog entries about my books or comic books. Case in point, I shot this footage three days ago, and I've just not been able to bring myself to edit it a bit and post it for folks to see. Sigh.

Such is the life of a person with depression:-( I'm a wreck, the past few weeks, and I can't seem to boost myself out of this rut.
