Belated Graphic Novel Scores from 3-25-13

Shalom, bibliophiles! This is a belated posting: I shot it two months ago, and it just sat on my desktop, waiting for me to do a bit of editing before posting. I apologize for the delay, but my health and teaching got in the way of my posting this entry. Now, with all of that said, let's take a gander at the amazing graphic novel scores:

Wahoo! That's going to be a bunch of fun reading for this summer (and probably fall, as I am teaching later in the summer, thankfully, which will reduce my "free reading" time).

Thanks for tuning in, and please stop by again; I shall be doing some back-postings and some new updates over the next few days, fingers-crossed.

Cheers,

Graphic Novels and More Comic Books, 2-16-12

Hi, folks! Wow, this order was shipped to the wrong person, and I was really bummed; however, thankfully, after an extra week, the box was forwarded to me. What a collection! I'm very excited and pleased with the score. I hope you enjoy watching me gush (and wheeze, I had an allergic reaction, sigh) over these new graphic novels and comic books. Thanks for tuning in, and please come by again! Cheers, LBF

Books, books, and more books, 1-28-12

Hi, folks! In this entry, we get to see some books that I bought. And, yes, I did score a few comic book-related things (a few graphic novels). I was hoping to find some books on the 19th century West because that's the next big thing I'm reading (to create lectures), but I only found one thing (related to Custer). Still, it was a fun bunch of finds, and I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed finding the books. Thanks for stopping by, and please stop by again! Cheers, LBF [Oh, I am going to APOLOGIZE now because I go on a bit of a rant, a few times. Why? I was sure that I'd have to use YouTube, but I did not, this time. I am sorry if my dear family and friends finds my anger at "trolls" and political labels, but I despise both. I don't have ANY political or religious allegiance, and I don't care if you do or not (it's not of my damn business, and it should be NONE of your damn business if I did). To that end, I got testy when I mentioned a few things, figuring standard YouTube viewers would complain. Sigh. After all, why do you think my name is "Lisa's Bad Friend"? I am bad person: I don't like cultural, political, or social labels, so if you don't like me--or what I have to say--then that's your problem and please move along.]
