Shalom, bibliophiles! I've been very ill, and I lost my energy. I was doing poorly before final exam week began, but I hid that from most people. I crashed on Tuesday (two days ago), and I went to my doctor's office; immediately, I was placed on several medications, one of which makes me drowsy.
Consequently, I've not had much energy to shoot video. In addition, I basically lost track of the various comic books that arrived over the last few weeks; I had to move them and, now, cannot figure out which comic books arrived on which day (I shuffled them around and moved them quickly, since I was pressured to do that). However, if I get the energy, I will post Part 3 of my big book score from a month ago.

Shalom, bibliophiles. I have been absent because I am very ill. I have hours, literally, of vlog entries just sitting for me to edit and post, and I have hours more to shoot (boxes of books and comic books just sitting, waiting for me to get better). Yes, I was ill all of last week, and, two days ago, on Monday, my dermatologist wanted to admit me to the hospital, but I don't have health insurance and suggested that was not an option now. She, my dermatologist, sort of, understood and placed me on lots of medication; if this doesn't help, then I might still need to go to hospital, sigh.

Shalom, bibliophiles! Yes, I'm about two weeks behind in my postings (even more, if I think about the giant box of 400 comic books sitting on the table). Well, folks, this posting covers the second box; I am too tired tonight to post the third. This box had some super cool things, including a few comic by Neil Gaiman, and I was just a little excited seeing the comic books for the first time.
Now, I really need to win the lotto, so I can stop being homeless and buy a small house and start reading again. Oh, yes, during much of the 1990s through 2003, I regularly read 1,000 pages/week, but I was in graduate school and reading mostly academic monographs. I sure would like to go back to even reading 500 pages/week, but, at the moment, even if I could find the time, most of my books are in a storage locker, which is where these comic books will go shortly, waiting for me to have the space and time to engage them. I don't know why, of late, I'm buying more comic books than books, but that's just how things go. For a while there, last spring and summer, I only bought poetry and plays, but, by summer, I was buying history and classics. Hi, folks, I've been coming apart at the seems, emotionally and mentally, so I am not working efficiently, whether it's for my job, reading, or just doing vlog entries about my books or comic books. Case in point, I shot this footage three days ago, and I've just not been able to bring myself to edit it a bit and post it for folks to see. Sigh.
Such is the life of a person with depression:-( I'm a wreck, the past few weeks, and I can't seem to boost myself out of this rut.

Well, I was able to work on the second set of comic books and edit them. I may work on the the next two boxes, and I will see if I can post about them tonight; otherwise, Part 3 (and/or Part 4) will post on Saturday.

Also, I am having trouble uploading videos into Blogger, sigh, so that is another reason I've not posted much (I need to figure out what the problem might me--I may need to switch to YouTube, sigh).
