Box 2 of the 3-5-12 Super Comic Book Score

Well, folks, this posting covers the second box; I am too tired tonight to post the third. This box had some super cool things, including a few comic by Neil Gaiman, and I was just a little excited seeing the comic books for the first time.

Now, I really need to win the lotto, so I can stop being homeless and buy a small house and start reading again. Oh, yes, during much of the 1990s through 2003, I regularly read 1,000 pages/week, but I was in graduate school and reading mostly academic monographs. I sure would like to go back to even reading 500 pages/week, but, at the moment, even if I could find the time, most of my books are in a storage locker, which is where these comic books will go shortly, waiting for me to have the space and time to engage them. Box 1 of the 3-5-12 Comic Book Super Score

Shalom, bibliophiles! Yup, this is the first of three boxes that I bought.

I don't know why, of late, I'm buying more comic books than books, but that's just how things go. For a while there, last spring and summer, I only bought poetry and plays, but, by summer, I was buying history and classics. My moods change and part of the buying experience is related to what I find.

Oh, darn, folks, I shot too much video of the things from 3/1/12, so I had to artificially chop up the video, thus the unnatural, abrupt ending to this posting; yes, it was not meant to end without me thanking you for watching and all, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

I sure hope you dig my vlogging about my new bunch of DVDs. I missed many of these seasons when they aired because I was overseas for part of the 1990s. Now, I get to catch up on that good fun! Records and a DVD set, something different:-P

Hi, folks! Yup, why should I limit myself only to books and comic books, when I listen to music when I read and often enjoy a good movie or TV series? With that in mind, this vlog entry is about a bunch of old 78s (records) that I bought and two seasons of the TV show called Rome.

I hope you enjoyed that; I am excited about those finds. Some day, when I have a place to live, I will show folks my records and record players (I have five, now). Comic Books from 2-27-12, Part One

Hi, book lovers! Oh boy, if I can take a break later, from writing lecture, I am going to post the second part to this video and several other vlog entries because I have all this footage that has been sitting on my desktop for a few days, waiting for me to review it. I sure hope that I can do that later tonight.
