Books about the West in American History

Well, friends, I'm vlogging about books that I own, this time; these are not recent purchases, but they are books that I've owned for a while, dating back to graduate school. The reason for this vlog entry stems from my opportunity to teach "The West in American History" this coming winter (2012); I sure hope the course happens (fingers are crossed on the enrollment at the moment).
