Lost in the time stream

Shalom, bibliophiles! Where do I start? Is it the existing health problems, the new ones, the depression, the lack of energy, the world around me, or just all of it? Whatever it may be, I've not posted on this blog, either in written form or the medium of video. I wish that I had answers and fix my problems, but I cannot.

Maybe, I can do some short vlog entries soon, if only to record my final thoughts (as if anyone was actually watching). I may post some thoughts about things I read or materials I own.

With that in mind, late last night, I read the following PSA (public service announcement) from 1950, "Superman's Code for Buddies," from Adventure Comics #151 (April 1950): DC Comics. The script is by the late Jack Schiff, and the pencils and inks were done by the legendary Al Plastino (not just known for his Superman work of the 1950s but co-creator of Supergirl and Brainiac).

Hmm...

That's all for now. Maybe, I'll have something to post over the next week, too.

Shalom,

Book Update 4-14-16

Shalom, bibliophiles! As reported in my last update, 8 months ago, my health failed. I'm not sure what will happen next, but none of us really does know what will happen next. For the moment, I'm hanging on, so I thought that I'd share some book scores with you:

Thanks for stopping by, and I do hope that you stop by again. I hope that I can post more regularly.

Cheers,

Belated Comic Book Update 5-7-15

Shalom, bibliophiles! Alas, my health is failing, or failed, and I've not had energy to shoot any new vlog entries. I do have lots of books and comic books to show you, but I've not been up to talking or shooting video. I am sorry.

Today's fare is a video shot last May:

Thanks for stopping by today, and please do stop by again.

Well, let's get to the vlog entry:

That was a nice set of comic books. I hope you enjoyed looking over these comics with me, today.

Please do stop by again. I hope to post another entry over the next 4 days.

Shalom, bibliophiles!

Today, we will take a look at a bunch of comic books related to the Soulfire comic book universe, created by the late Michael Turner:

Well, that's cool! This will be some fun reading, probably for the summer.

Thanks for tuning in, today, and please stop by again soon.

Comic Book Update from 4/25/15

Shalom, bibliophiles! I'm sorry that I've not posted regularly; I'm having a tough time with life. Yes, in the past, I posted weekly (often several times a week), but my mental and physical health seems to be coming apart and impacting my ability to blog and vlog. I apologize. I will try to post more often. Sigh.

Okay, let us take a look at this bunch of DC Comic books:

Well, I was excited by that bunch because there are either runs of comic books in a row or complete mini-series, and that makes reading so much more fun.

Thanks for stopping by today, and please do stop by again.

Comic Book Update 3-16-15

Shalom, bibliophiles! Well, it's been more than a week since my last vlog entry, but I explain why in this vlog entry. I am going to still try to do one entry per week, and I hope to feel better and work up to two each week. Let's go see the comic books:

Wowsers! That was a cool set of comic books, eh? Really, I am surprised by the condition of most of the comic books because I thought they would be in much poorer condition.

Thanks for tuning in, and please do stop by again soon.
